Elate is the debut album of Bulgarian folktronic trio Trigaida. Emanuela was invited to create the graphic design for the vinyl and digipack, complimentary to the original artwork by graffiti & fine artist Nasimo.
Folktronica is a combination of folk music with electronic soundscapes - the cover being an interpretation of this fusion of styles. A graphic concept was needed. Emanuela based her design approach on the light array that portrays the digital angle of the musical fusion. The design is simple and uncomplicated, in order to support the visually rich cover. She chose to continue the light beams throughout the packaging to keep the cover art and the supporting graphics complimentary to each other, with colour choices entirely from the painting's palette.
